ACHC’s Mixed Team enjoyed a fantastic run to the final of the England Hockey Mixed Tier 2 Championship, beating Henley, Hertford, Hampstead & Westminster, Staines, Havering and Lichfield.
On 8th June the team faced Neston in the final, held at Southgate Hockey Club. The first half saw two very evenly matched teams, drawing 0-0 at half time. Unfortunately Neston upped their game in the second half, beating ACHC 5-1 (ACHC goal from Jamie Watts).
Congratulations to everyone who played for the Mixed Team over the course of the season, and thanks to the many supporters who travelled to Southgate to cheer the team on.
