Juniors Playing Senior Hockey
Junior players are prevented from playing in senior hockey
matches (by England Hockey Board rules) until their 13th
birthday (and 15th birthday for National League).
At ACHC we actively encourage young players to play in
our adult side. For the girls this is often from the age of 13, but for the boys it tends to
be later with most starting once they move into Yr10 (some of the strongest Yr9's may be offered games after Christmas).
We have a Selection Policy which is available from the
Parent's Download page, this details how we protect and
select our young players in the junior and senior squads.
This is adhered to by all junior teams and senior teams.
